EASTER EGG & EASTER EGG HUNT

The Romans believed that "All life comes from an egg" while Christians consider eggs to be "the seed of life" and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that Easter Bunny had laid eggs in the grass. Eventually, it expanded to include chocolate and other types of candy and gifts, while decorated baskets replaced nests. Today on Easter Sunday, neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts and children hunt for the eggs all around the places. The child who finds the most eggs wins a prize!
